'GENDER' POLITICS AND THE
THIEVES OF FEMINISM

'
Who stole feminism?' is the title of a book by Christina Hoff Summers,
(published in New York, 1994),
in shich she dissected the practices of those she called 'second-wave feminists',
or 'gender feminists', in opposition to 'equity feminists'.
She sees those women who have taken over the movement to secure women's
rights as usurpers who have done far more harm than good for the cause of
women's emancipation and made them a laughing stock for serious members of
either sex. This section is devoted to analyses of the ideas that inspire this
contemporary form of feminism
The author of this site is an old-style (or equity) feminist who believes that
'genderfeminists' belong to the same stable as do the disciples of relativism,
anti-nomianism, multi-culturalism, anti-family militants and other would-be
wreckers of Western civilization.

There is ample evidence for this conclusion in their own theorizing but outside the
fever swamps of so-called 'Women's Studies Departments' in certain western
universities, little is known by the general public of what passes for scholarship in
these exotic places.  Some typical examples are quoted in articles published here
(listed in the right~hand side bar
